Travelling to Winterthur is easier than you could possibly imagine! 2 hours by car from Stuttgard, less than 4 hours drive from Frankfurt, around 6 hours from Paris and close to Austria as well as easily reachable from Italy and - thanks to Zurich airport being nearby (15 minutes by train) - basically from every other country.
Winterthur is located northeast of Zurich. The town is renowned for its institute of higher education Technikum, which is the largest school of technology in Switzerland. Winterthur received the Wakker Prize for the development and preservation of its architectural heritage.
